Rino Supply Company presents First Friday with Koko Bayer, August 4 from 12-7pm
Largely recognized as an artistic heiress to the creative energy of her grand father, the genius, Herbert Bayer; Koko Bayer has literally blanketed her works all over the Denver metro and surrounding Front Range Colorado communities. Focusing on a wall paper /wheat paste methodology, Koko emphasizes the nuance of temporary art structures. Leveraging design components of her late grand father, Koko photographs and re-pastes her gallery pieces onto wood or other found and fixed structures.
The balance of Koko’s work in the common gallery space at Rino Supply provides an almost European energy from which the artwork was originally created. Koko’s work has been featured in Outfront Colorado
, and many other notable publications.
Rino Supply Company’s art gallery will be showing Koko’s pieces through August 15
in the heart of the RiNo Art District
3100 Blake Street, 9am to 7pm Monday – Saturday. And Sundays 10:30-3:30
Curated by Duncan Dash
